Know About Tenterden : Tenterden is a town in the Ashford District Kent, England. Tertenden is located on slightly rising ground looking out over the vast agricultural landscape of the Rother Levels, which sweep down to the Romney Marshes and finally, the sea. It stands on the edge of the Weald, overlooking the valley of the River Rother. The town grew from the 14th century around the wool industry, although, unlike other such centres in the Weald, it had the advantage of access to the sea.
